Actress Mumtaz is acting in a minister role for the film Rajadhiraja. The film is directed by Shakthi Chidambaram who earlier produced a lot of films, mostly with Sathyaraj. Now, the director wanted Mumtaz to appear as a woman minister. She is given the role of Saidai Shailaja who becomes minister and takes cudgels against those who made her to suffer.
